Lahore is our first love and our second in America

Lahore is our first love and our second in America

We had earlier said that Lahore is our first love and our second love is in America. This second love also made us fall in love with Lahore. Our third love is Islamabad. He instilled in us the love of the ancient architectural beauty of Lahore. So because of these two loves, today we love each and every street, bazaar and city within twelve gates of Lahore so much that if I express this love, affection and affection, I will write many columns for it. Inside Lahore, every street and bazaar has a history. Inshallah, I will narrate the past, present and events of the well-known streets and bazaars of Lahore. There are only a few old Lahoreites left who have seen every tradition of this beautiful city alive, we did not value both this generation and Lahore. Said

Don't call it a shrine. This is a palace of love

It is truly a palace of love and affection. I wish it was restored with its historical beauty. This beautiful tomb of Anar Kali is associated with seeing. But will not let him see? We were fortunate to see this historic tomb courtesy of Raja Mansoor Ahmed, the new Information Secretary of Punjab. According to Rajendra Kishan

She will tell these stories of my shrine

This whole pomegranate remained open even in autumn

We have destroyed many historical tombs and mausoleums in Lahore. We have said before that the people of Walled City can never restore the beauty of this historic Lahore that this city demands. The archeology department has not been able to protect this historic city for 75 years. What will the people of Waldsti do? They don't even know the history of Lahore. We ourselves have asked many officers many times about different historical places, but they did not know anything about their history. Goodbye Just applying red, yellow, red, green and pink and installing four plastic lamps will never restore the historical beauty of Lahore.

This time we had the opportunity to walk from Mall Road and Lawrence Garden to the very beautiful and historic Botanical Garden of Government College Lahore (now University) some fifty years later. Thousands of Lahoreis go to the zoo, Free Mason Hall, daily and pass in front of the garden between Lawrence Garden and the zoo on their way from the Governor's House. No one knows what the significance of this botanical garden is and how much it is. It is old, nor did the unaware administration of Government College Lahore feel the need to inform the people of Lahore. Anyway, now Government College Lahore (now University) has no place in the world rankings. Government College Lahore was once a big name. Now that it has become a university, it has lost that name and place. A former vice chancellor of this historic educational institution just changed his name to Government College in the process of writing his name as the last principal and first vice chancellor in history, Government College University, where people used to call it GC, now strange The name has been changed to GCU. The rest of the deficit was met by several Vice Chancellors. We will write in great detail about this historic college. Fortunately, this historic garden was established on 14 acres in 1912 by Mr. Koshal, the father of the famous Indian actor Kamni Koshal, and the British. Kamni Koshal was also a student of Kniard College and probably Government College, Lahore. Deo Anand was also a student of Government College Lahore. His house was outside Bhati Gate, which we saw during our college days. This historic Botanical Garden of Government College Lahore which was established by the British in 1912 on 14 acres. Today there are only seven acres left, the remaining seven acres occupied by the zoo and Lawrence Garden and in the next fifty years someone else will take over who is planning it, monuments, historic buildings, old mansions on the slopes of Lahore, Bowls, wells, gardens, tombs, shrines, temples, gurdwaras, ancient mosques, what was nothing.

There was once so many roses inside Lahore that rose bushes grew spontaneously on the roadsides and in green belts. Old Lahoreis, I don't know how many there are now, know that there were many rose gardens around Lahore. We remember that as soon as you went a little beyond the cheering cross, an enchanting scent wafted through the air. Al-Falah Building, Mela Ram's factory offices (where Wapda House is now) and Nedoz Hotel (where Awari Hotel is now) and Al-Hamra Hall and Kashmir Road next to it were full of roses. There used to be a garden here one day. ۔ Where there was a little grass on both sides of the Mall Road, red and rose flowers were a must.
